Childcare Costs maximums increase- From July 2023, Increase in the Universal Credit childcare costs(paid at 85% of actual costs) maximum amounts to £951(previously £646.35) for 1 child and £1,630(previously £1,108.04 for 2 children.
Voluntary National Insurance Contributions- the government has said- 'Taxpayers now have until 5 April 2025 to fll gaps in their National Insurance record from April 2006 that may increase their State Pension - an extension of nearly 2 years - the government announced today (12 June). ''They can fnd out how to check their National Insurance record, obtain a State Pension forecast, decide if making a voluntary National Insurance contributionis worthwhile for them and their pension, and how to make a payment on GOV.UK.'
Pre Payment Meters- the government has announced that from July 2023 'Prepayment meter households will no longer pay more on average for their energy than direct debit customers, as the government scraps unfair charge.'
