The administrative threshold allows a client to reduce some of the conditionality around Universal Credit.
The minimum wage rise in April has meant a rise in the earnings thresholds for someone who has to be available for 35 hours per week. The government has issued guidance explaining it is now £743 for single claimants and £1,189 for couples.
The number of hours for the administration threshold has been rising over the years.
