The government has announced-
'£421 million boost for local authorities in England to help people most in need with the cost of their energy, food and water, with £79 million for devolved administrations'
The fund in 2023/24 had a budget of £1billion.
The government has not stated that the Winter Fuel Payment(increased by £300) or disability cost of living payment that was available previously will continue.
