LATE RIGHT OF APPEAL ON OFFICIAL ERROR GROUNDS

Created 05/06/2019

Generally, clients need to act in time to challenge decisions by mandatory reconsideration and appeal- within one month(or exceptionally up to 13 months after the decision). Guidance from the DWP has confirmed the right of appeal later than 13 months on official error grounds. The same may apply to late request for a mandatory reconsideration outside the 13 month time limit.
